Vegetarian options are available but limited; look for salads, pasta, pizzas and vegetable empanadas at cafés and family restaurants. Bring snacks and staples if you have strict needs, and ask staff about replacing fish/meat with vegetables.

Vegan and gluten-free choices are not widespread; larger restaurants or bakeries in nearby larger towns may offer substitutions. Communicate restrictions clearly in Spanish and plan ahead, especially during high season.
